(NASDAQ: AESP) announced today that its Advanced Electronic Manufacturing (AEM) OEM sales division has received purchase orders from a Fortune 500 company to manufacture a new product line of high end audio/video cables. The order size is approximately $1.1 million and deliveries are currently scheduled for the end of the second quarter and beginning of the third quarter of 2002.
Steve Mortensen, Vice-President of AEM, stated: "We are very pleased to receive this order, which we believe illustrates our ability to meet the requirements of our OEM customers by providing them with the latest technology at a fair price. The product line will include S-Video, Composite video, Toslink Fiber Optic, and Digital Audio cable assemblies. AEM will use the latest advances in cable construction, as well as specialized plating on the contacts to ensure the best signal quality. These products are ideal for high end audio/video equipment, including home theater applications."
