Miami, Florida – April 1, 2002 – Advanced Electronic Support Products, Inc (NASDAQ: AESP) today announced its participation in CeBIT 2002 in Hanover, Germany from March 13 through March 20, 2002. The Company’s Signamax™ Connectivity Networking Systems Group exhibited in the American Pavilion, and unveiled three exciting new networking solutions for use by Information Technology (IT) professionals worldwide: the Signamax Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Access Switch, the Signamax 100BaseFX Fast Ethernet Fiber Switch, and the Signamax 12-Port Fixed Media Converter. Interest in these new products and the rest of the Signamax product line was high throughout the show, with a large number of attendees visiting the Signamax booth to examine these new offerings.

CeBIT 2002 is the largest IT show in the world, surpassing last year’s record attendance of over 780,000 IT professionals. It provides a worldwide forum for new product introduction and development of new business opportunities.

The Signamax 065-7732FSC multimode and 065-7732FSM singlemode Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Access Switches provide two 1000BaseSX fiber optic ports plus 24 100BaseFX fiber optic ports, typically used in Local Area Network (LAN) applications, industrial Ethernet, and carrier networks. The 065-7640FSC multimode and 065-7640FSM singlemode Fast Ethernet Fiber Switches are the means to connect workstations and servers using fiber optic cable where Gigabit Ethernet connections are not yet desired. These are all fully functional, SNMP-managed, standards-compliant switches capable of managing connectivity for medium and large-scale network installations.

The Signamax 065-1200 12-Channel Rack Mount Media Converter contains 12 channels of fiber optic media conversion in a standard rack mountable case only one rack unit high. This extremely high port density allows the maximum number of media converter channels per rack. It has a wide choice of connector configurations, utilizing switching 10/100BaseT/TX to 100BaseFX conversion. Additional configuration choices provide twelve channels of Gigabit Ethernet 1000BaseT to 1000BaseSX or 1000BaseT to 1000BaseLX media conversion.
