RESPONDS TO QUESTION ABOUT ITS CURRENTLY OUTSTANDING

WARRANTS AND ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF LETTER OF INTENT

 

 

Miami, Florida – February 8, 2002 -- Advanced Electronic Support Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: AESP/AESPW) today responded to a question which it has received regarding the status of its publicly traded common stock purchase warrants, which are currently quoted on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market under the symbol “AESPW.”  The Company currently has 920,000 warrants outstanding to purchase an equal number of shares of common stock at an exercise of $6.90 per share, which warrants expire on February 12, 2002. The Company has been asked to comment upon whether it intends to extend the expiration date of the currently outstanding warrants. In response to this question, the Company is hereby notifying the market that it does not intend to extend the termination date of its public warrants.

 

The Company also reported that it has terminated its previously announced non-binding letter of intent to purchase L & M, GmbH.
