AESP, INC.
ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCTS AT BICSI WINTER CONFERENCE IN
ORLANDO, FLORIDA.

Miami, Florida – February 11, 2003 – AESP, Inc. (NASDAQ: AESP) today announced that the BICSI Winter Conference held in Orlando, Florida on January 12-15, 2003 marked the introduction of significant new products from AESP’s Signamax Connectivity Systems Division.

The Signamax Premise Connectivity product line has been expanded to include new, higher-performance Category 5e and Category 6 network infrastructure cabling systems, which exceed performance standards as defined by the Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA) and Electronic Industry Association (EIA). These products are designed to support high-speed networks operating at up to 250 MHz and provide additional bandwidth capacity for new, emerging networking systems such as Gigabit Ethernet (1000BaseTX), that allows a single network to carry video, voice, and data traffic simultaneously. System elements displayed at the conference were patch panels, cross-connect systems, user outlets and connecting cables, all designed to maximize network performance and ensure capabilities for future applications requiring four-pair, full-duplex, high-bandwidth network transmission.

According to Steve Daily, the Division’s Vice-President and General Manager, “Our Category 5e and Category 6 cabling systems have been re-engineered to provide superior performance, reliability and value in enterprise network infrastructures. Both cabling systems employ state-of-the-art components designed to work together as a system, making installation easier and more cost effective.”

Mr. Daily added, “With the introduction of these new products, Signamax Connectivity Systems continues to lead the industry as a single-source provider of high-performance, high-value network solutions.

AESP, Inc. designs, manufactures, markets and distributes network connectivity products under the brand name Signamax Connectivity Systems as well as customized solutions for original equipment manufacturers worldwide. The Company offers a complete line of active networking and premise cabling products for copper and fiber based networks, along with computer connectivity products.
