Miami, Florida, September 20, 2002 - AESP, Inc. (NASDAQ: AESP ) today announced the introduction of a new line of Wireless Ethernet products by its division, Signamax™ Connectivity Systems. These products utilize a new generation of transmission technology to provide power and flexibility for wireless networking applications.

These products offer IT professionals and residence customers a cost-effective vehicle for extending their networks where standard copper and fiber cabling solutions are not feasible." explained Steve Daily, Vice-President and General Manager of Signamax Connectivity Systems.

The Signamax Wireless Ethernet product line consists of devices supporting the IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b Wi-Fi standards. Residence and smaller business customers can connect multiple computers for file sharing, printer sharing, and sharing high-speed internet access without installing cable to specific locations. Laptop computers in a larger business can be used in conference rooms, colleagues’ office desktops, and in the user’s own office while maintaining constant, complete access to corporate data on their network. Businesses and larger home properties can also extend their networks to remote buildings with a minimum of cost and minimal disruption of daily operations.

In addition, the Company announced that the maturity date of its line of credit has been extended until January 23, 2003, and that the Company is actively searching for a new lender to provide alternative financing to replace its existing line of credit. While the Company expects to be able to find alternative financing, there can be no assurance that it will be able to do so.
